Located at the foot of the mountain Biokovo, Makarska boasts beautiful sandy beaches with Dalmatian pine trees and shimmering blue sea.
Two Osejava Peninsula and St. Peter closed the picturesque bay, which is in summer teeming with boats and yachts. The city is to sew a rocky mountain slope.

Founded in 1518. year, while the present building dates from 1614. The old and the new Franciscan church located in the same complex. The monastery has a valuable library, archives, art collection and incunabula. Shell museum with a collection of rare shells in the monastery, too. On the peninsula of St. St. Peter's Church. Petra, probably built in the 15th century. It was heavily damaged by an earthquake in 1962, and has been completely renovated and is the perfect place for a romantic wedding. At the western entrance to the city's monument to Napoleon in the early 19th century.
Makarska, who is enjoying the sunny weather most of the year, is the perfect destination for a nice vacation.
